2010 - Yesterday was a wonderful day...I felt so spoiled and SO loved. Thanks to all the warm wishes from family and friends. I'd also like to send a HUGE thank-you to Brian for making me feel extra special yesterday...I really do believe I have the best husband in the world. My birthday celebration started off with my sweet husband's birthday present to me: an awesome new camera lens!!
I am SO excited to try this new baby out. It's a 20mm wide-angle lens. If anyone has any tips about using it, please let me know!
There was also some of my favorite chocolate after breakfast, because if you can't eat chocolate after breakfast on your birthday...when can you?!

Yesterday afternoon my piggies were treated to a relaxing pedicure...
When Brian got back from work the celebrating went in to high gear. I received an adorable card from B with the evening's itinerary, to include: a delicious steak dinner, a birthday party, and a movie. YAY!
We had a delectable dinner of filet mignon, bacon wrapped green beans, and a perfectly baked potato. YUM. Now on to the party! I walked in to the room to find awesome birthday decorations/favors, cheesecake, and candles!
We ended up eating a quarter of it. Needless to say, I was so full I could barely roll myself into bed last night.
I couldn't have asked for a more fun birthday. I had a fabulous day with my two special guys!

That's easy!! My favorite was my 60th birthday when all of my beautiful children and their spouses and my granddaughter and my mom came to Texas to celebrate with me! My soon to be husband(at the time) helped set it up and it was truly a memorable birthday, lots of great memories! XO
BTW - Happy Birthday Angel Clare! It was fabulous to see your smiling face on Skype this morning! And congratulations on your 200th blog post! Wow!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I am going to show that "itinerary" photo to Mitch and tell him, "DO THIS" because that's so darn cute (and an amazing day, it seems like). When I turned 23 Mitch and I went camping and he did all sorts of nice things like picking up a single slice of chocolate cake for me for the trip (that was breakfast). Umm and my 20th birthday was fun because I was in Spain so I could go to bars so that was fun.
Happy Birthday Clare! Hope you're having a great and memorable day in Germany. And happy birthday blog - 200 amazing posts! My favorite birthday? Probably my golden bday spent in Ireland; although, all those Spring Break bdays are a close second. Miss you!
