Danke Schoen!

It's hard to believe, but we've been in Germany for 3 whole months already.
How did that happen?!

I'll be heading back to the states for a few weeks to visit family.
Here's the path I'm going to take:

Since I'll be in the States and Brian will be here in Germany, the blog will take on a slightly different look. Stay tuned! In an effort to say Danke Schoen to our readers, we're going to host a little (sweet) giveaway.

Here's how to enter:
-Leave a comment on this post telling us where you'd like to see us travel this spring and summer (only 1 comment per person, please). I can't promise we'll hit all of the recommended spots, but we're always open to suggestions!
-Comment must be entered by 1200 (Eastern Standard Time) on March 12th.
-A comment will be drawn at random, the winner will be notified, and receive a German treat in the mail.

Thanks to everyone for reading our blog. It's fun to know that our family and friends are able to keep up with our faraway lives. And don't be shy, keep the comments coming, we love reading them!

I think you should head for Barcelona, Spain. Add another country to your list!

I think you should visit San Diego. it's lovely in the summer. Oh wait, is that not what you meant? Well then I think you should go to Amsterdam. Canals and Anne Frank and tulips and "coffee shops"? Come on...

Copenhagen, Denmark - didn't anticipate ever going there, but ended up a semester of school there and it is one of the most gorgeous and fun places around.

Italy and Greece are the plan this summer. We are going all out and using a travel agent.

I can't believe I missed the deadline. My late vote would be for Rothenburg on der Tauber. It's a storybook city, close by and there's that fabulous TORTURE museum. Food for thought.....
